Day 01: Yangon arrival (D)

Welcomed to the golden land of Myanmar! Our tour guide and driver will meet and greet you for your hotel transfer.
Welcome dinner will be served in Karaweik Palace restaurant.

Day 02: Yangon Walking Tour  (B)

A guided walking tour this day commences from Sakura tower, the central of Yangon city tour. Our morning walk will cover Minister`s office, High Court Buildings, Maha Bandula Garden and Emmanuel Church. These monuments reflect the architectural signature of British colonial time. Lunch will be served in Monsoon restaurant after your visit to Theingyi market.
This afternoon, we will see the Royal lake and its surrounding before heading to Shwedagon Monastery before entering the massive Buddhism construction of this pagoda. The site is full of Buddhism stories, small stupas, and golden spires. Enjoy the sunset by the diamondized peak of Shwedagon.

Day 03: Yangon – Bagan discovery (B,D)

Boarding a morning flight from Yangon to Bagan.
Spend your full day exploring the remainder of Bagan which consists of more than 2500 temples and pagodas. This archaeological site brings us to the sacred history of ancient Bagan capital with the development of Buddhism.As we travel further into the land of temple spires, Htilomino, Gawdamgangyi, Ananda and Shwezigontemples will attract your sense of curiosity with a profound impression.The highlight of this day is the sunset from the second highest temple the Shwenandaw.

Day 04: Bagan temples &  local life (B)

Today, we bring you a new sense of travel with a horse cart ride along the off-beaten-track temples and visit Manuha village where local people make cigars, weaving silks in their traditional way. You are invited to join them for their plantation.
We will discover the most outstanding temples in Bagan including Htilomino, Gawdammagyi, Ananda and other before having sunset cruise on Irrawaddy River.

Day 05: Bagan- Inle Lake ( flight) ( B)

Taking the flight to travel Inle lake for a scenic transfer to Nyang Shwe town. From here we will take a motor-boat trip to experience the life of Intha people, being famous for one leg rower, floating garden and stilt villages.
We will have chance to know about local traditional work such as making boat, black smith, silk weaving and enjoy the uniqueness of Jumping Cat pagoda.

Day 06: Inle Lake – Indein – Yangon ( flight) ( B)

Getting up early for the trip to Indein market which happens 5 days in differents villages around Inle Lake. This is really a worth visiting tour to see Pa-O, Palaung tribes in their traditional dress, observing local people making trades on the water level.
Rest at your leisure or discover the town of Nyang Shwe with its exotic pagoda before taking the flight back to Yangon

Day 07: Yangon tour – departure (B)

Enjoy an excursion to Thanlyn where there is a floating pagoda on Yangon river and nearby fishing village.
Take your time for some souvenir at Scott market, the biggest market in Yangon famed for gems, jewelry, wood products and handicrafts.Leaving Yangon for your home with your beautiful memory of Myanmar!

WHERE IS MYANMAR (BURMA)  Myanmar (Burma) is South East Asia’s largest and most diverse countries, stretches from the sparkling islands of the Andaman Sea in the south right up into the Eastern Himalayan mountain range.
  • The months of October to March, when it is drier and cooler than at other times of the year.
  • The rainy season has the effect of monsoon in June, July, August and September, BUT it is not rainy the whole country like in Mandalay or Bagan.
  • Summer season stars from March to May remains dry (meaning that road transport is still relatively easy) but they can be extremely hot in the north – up to 40 degrees Celsius – but cooler in highland areas like in Inle lake.
  1. Tourist visa issued with e-Visa system will be launched at 06:00 on 1st September 2014.
  2. Regarding the information of e-Visa is on website www.evisa.moip.gov.mm and the information of restricted area on www.mip.gov.mm.
  3. You can apply as following procedures:
    Your passport validity must have AT LEAST 6 MONTHS.
    You have to present one COLOR photo (4 cm X 6 cm) taking during 3 months and return ticket.
    The length of stay is 28 days from the date of arrival in Myanmar.
    You pay the application fee, US$ 50 by using Visa, Master, Amex, and JCB – Credit/ Debit.
    The system will reply the information if the application is received or not within 1 HOURS.
    The processing time is maximum 03 DAYS WORKING for granting e-Visa or not.
    The validity of e-Visa approval letter is 3 MONTHS from the issued date. If it is expired, the entry will be denied.
    Duration of visa validity you can only use single entry. Do not allow to enter again.
    The passengers from international cruise ships CAN NOT use eVisa for their entry via sea ports.
    You will not be refunded whether e-Visa is granted or not.

Myanmar country code is 95.
Mobile phone is GMS – SIM based technology. The SIM card is as cheap as 2-3$/piece.
Wi-fi is free at some hotels, restaurants, and coffee shops at main cities.
Wi-fi speed is not very quick but enough for email, web surfing or facebook.

MYANMAR MONEY & CARDS  Myanmar’s national currency, the KYAT (pronounced chat, abbreviated in MMK) is divided into the following banknotes: K1, K5, K10, K20, K50, K100, K200, K500 and K1000. us$ 1 ~ 1,350MMK.
Most three stars hotels up often have at least one AMT machine right at their lobbies. Main hotels now accepts credit cards payment.
Anyway, we suggest you should bring with some cashes just in case. Local buying there accept Burmese and US dollars widely. However please pay at attention when bring US notes with you:
The US$ notes must be new.
The US$ notes torn, marked, folded will not be accepted.
The US$ notes having series before 2003 backward may not accepted.
You are allowed to bring up to US$ 5000 in cash per person to enter Myanmar.
