Day 01: Arrival in Yangon (D)

Warm greeting to Myanmar – the land of golden pagodas and temples
A transfer is included from Yangon airport to your hotel.
Our welcomed dinner will be served with fine Burmese buffet and beautiful cultural show.

Day 02: Yangon – Mandalay (B)

Depart Yangon for Mandalay by air in the morning.
Spend your day discover the highlights of Mingun which locates on the left bank of Irrawaddy, famed for the incomplete wall, the biggest ringing bell.
In the afternoon, visit the major attractions of Mandalay city including Royal Palace,  Kuthodaw pagoda and Mandalay hill which offers a great panoramic view to the city.

Day 03: Mandalay – Monywa (B)

Enjoy a scenic excursion to Monywa, the former capital of Myanmar.  Upon arrival, we will have a chance to visit local Golden Palace Monastery and the landscape of Chinwin river.
Rest on your leisure and visit the major attractions of Monywa with our tour guide.

Day 04: Monywa – Bagan (B)

This day we will set off early for the drive to Irrawaddy river. Our highlighted moment is the ferry crossing the Irrawaddy river to reach the famous site of Bagan.
In Bagan, we will enjoy a leisurely visit to Shwesandaw pagoda where we can enjoy the panoramic sunset of Bagan

Day 05: Bagan cycling (B)

Spend our full day cycling along the old temples of Bagan. Our day begins with the visit to Nyang U market, the typical market of Bagan region with some interesting trading activities. After that, we will visit Shwezigon pagoda, the only golden spire in Bagan with unique architecture.
In the afternoon, we will visit the biggest temples of Bagan including Htilomino, Ananda,…. pagoda. Indulge yourself in the sunset cruise on Irrawaddy river.

Day 06: Bagan – Mt. Popa (B)

Get up early for the sunrise over the temple spires. We will head east to visit Mt. Popa monastery and  Bagan villages and national park.
Enjoy your afternoon by Mt. Popa Resort.

Day 07: Mt. Popa – Kalaw (B,L,D)

Continue our journey to Kalaw, the hill station that remains the charm of British Colonial with style houses and gardens. Upon arrival, our tour guide will show you the uniqueness of this town and surely you will like the weather here.

Day 08: Kalaw Trekking (B,L,D)

Today, we will enjoy a trekking up and downhill to visit local tribes, experience their daily life. From Pa-O village to Palaung habitat, we will discover the differences in culture and lifestyle while you are offered to behold the great mountain view from your trekking route.

Day 09: Trekking to Inle Lake (B,L,D)

Get up with the sound of nature and keep your pace downhill toward Inle Lake. Upon your arrival, our boatman will wait to transfer you to your resort.
Enjoy your comfort with our resort in Inle Lake.

Day 10: Inle Lake discovery (B)

A full day tour will bring you to the floating garden, fishing village, boat-making village and silk villages of Intha people. There are many traditions that are unlike in this area and for sure they will impress you much.
We will visit Jumping Cat pagoda before enjoying the sunset by the lakeside.

Day 11: Inle Lake – Indein – PaO villages (B)

The 5 days market of Indein which happens in a different village every day is our highlight of this day. We will see Pa-O tribes in their traditional dresses and observe the floating market which takes places mostly on a boat.

Day 12: Inle Lake – Yangon ( Flight) (B)

Rest on your own until our driver come to pick you up for the transfer to Heho Airport.
Boarding the flight back to Yangon.

Day 13: Yangon city tour (B)

This day is to explore the charm of Yangon city starting from Sule pagoda to Colonial buildings including City Hall, Emmanuel church…. to Chinese temple and town.
In the afternoon, we will do some shopping at Scott market, the biggest market in Myanmar, being famous for its gems, jewellery, handicrafts….

Day 14: Yangon departure (B)

Rest on your own until our driver comes to pick you up for your flight back home.

WHERE IS MYANMAR (BURMA)  Myanmar (Burma) is South East Asia’s largest and most diverse countries, stretches from the sparkling islands of the Andaman Sea in the south right up into the Eastern Himalayan mountain range.
  • The months of October to March, when it is drier and cooler than at other times of the year.
  • The rainy season has the effect of monsoon in June, July, August and September, BUT it is not rainy the whole country like in Mandalay or Bagan.
  • Summer season stars from March to May remains dry (meaning that road transport is still relatively easy) but they can be extremely hot in the north – up to 40 degrees Celsius – but cooler in highland areas like in Inle lake.
  1. Tourist visa issued with e-Visa system will be launched at 06:00 on 1st September 2014.
  2. Regarding the information of e-Visa is on website www.evisa.moip.gov.mm and the information of restricted area on www.mip.gov.mm.
  3. You can apply as following procedures:
    Your passport validity must have AT LEAST 6 MONTHS.
    You have to present one COLOR photo (4 cm X 6 cm) taking during 3 months and return ticket.
    The length of stay is 28 days from the date of arrival in Myanmar.
    You pay the application fee, US$ 50 by using Visa, Master, Amex, and JCB – Credit/ Debit.
    The system will reply the information if the application is received or not within 1 HOURS.
    The processing time is maximum 03 DAYS WORKING for granting e-Visa or not.
    The validity of e-Visa approval letter is 3 MONTHS from the issued date. If it is expired, the entry will be denied.
    Duration of visa validity you can only use single entry. Do not allow to enter again.
    The passengers from international cruise ships CAN NOT use eVisa for their entry via sea ports.
    You will not be refunded whether e-Visa is granted or not.

Myanmar country code is 95.
Mobile phone is GMS – SIM based technology. The SIM card is as cheap as 2-3$/piece.
Wi-fi is free at some hotels, restaurants, and coffee shops at main cities.
Wi-fi speed is not very quick but enough for email, web surfing or facebook.

MYANMAR MONEY & CARDS  Myanmar’s national currency, the KYAT (pronounced chat, abbreviated in MMK) is divided into the following banknotes: K1, K5, K10, K20, K50, K100, K200, K500 and K1000. us$ 1 ~ 1,350MMK.
Most three stars hotels up often have at least one AMT machine right at their lobbies. Main hotels now accepts credit cards payment.
Anyway, we suggest you should bring with some cashes just in case. Local buying there accept Burmese and US dollars widely. However please pay at attention when bring US notes with you:
The US$ notes must be new.
The US$ notes torn, marked, folded will not be accepted.
The US$ notes having series before 2003 backward may not accepted.
You are allowed to bring up to US$ 5000 in cash per person to enter Myanmar.
