Day 01: Yangon arrival (D)

Welcome to the golden land of Myanmar!
Our tour guide and driver will meet and greet you for your hotel transfer. Join us for the welcome dinner with an exceptional cultural show for the first meal of this Myanmar holiday package.

Day 2: Yangon City Tour (B)

Enjoy your orientation tour of Yangon with a walk from Sule pagoda to Strand Hotel where you will encounter numerous of British colonial buildings and Emmanual Church. You will have chances to observe the local life on Yangon river side.
In the afternoon, we will visit Chautatkhgyi pagoda, famed for the biggest reclining Buddha statue in Myanmar, followed by a pleasant walk in royal places where you will admire Karaweik Palace and the green park of Kandawgyi. Your highlight of this day is the visit to Shwedagon, the most outstanding pagoda, dominating the skyline of Yangon with a magical golden flash.

Day 03: Yangon – Inle Lake (B)

Embarking on a flight to Heho, you will enjoy a scenic drive to Nyang Shwe from where you will embark on a beautiful Myanmar boat trip to explore the life of Intha people whose image exposes vividly through one leg rower.  Spend our time to know about local traditional work such as making boats, blacksmith, silk weaving and enjoy the uniqueness of Jumping Cat pagoda.

Day 04: Inle Lake – Indein – Pa O village (B)

Visit one of the unique markets on Inle lake which happens 5 days in different villages in Inlay area: the Indein market. There is no better chance to behold the scene of Pa-O, Padang tribes in their traditional dresses.
Our guide will offer you some visit to local habitats of Pa-O people in Indein.
Relax by your resort for an awesome sunset time.

Day 05: Inle Lake – Sagar – Mandalay (B)

Continue your discovery of Inle to Sagar, the off beaten track destination with floating, ruin stupas and exotic local life. Your experience will go further than just a look at traditional life or green floating vegetation.
After a good lunch at View Point Restaurant, we will proceed to Heho airport for the flight o Mandalay.

Day 06: Mandalay – Mingun –Mandalay Royal Palace. (B)

Start your sightseeing today with a board ride upstream to Mingun, home to Uncomplete Wall, Sandamuni pagoda, and Mingun ringing bell. Our local expert will be pleased to introduce you the life of people who live on the banks of Irrawaddy river.
In the afternoon, we will discover the royal Mandalay vestiges and relics covering Imperial Palace, Golden Palace Monastery, and Kuthodaw Pagoda also known as the world biggest book.The highlight of this day is the panoramic sunset from the peak of Mandalay Hill

Day 07: Mandalay – Pyin Oo Lwin (B)

Take a scenic drive to Pyin Oo Lwin, the former British hill station of Maymyo. Visit a local market and many reminders of a typical brick and timber British houses and gardens.  Continue to visit a Botanical garden.
In the afternoon, enjoy a horse-cart ride through beautifully-landscaped gardens and the town. Our guide will introduce you the history and culture of Pyin Oo Lwin. Return to Mandalay.

Day 08: Mandalay Ancient Capitals ( Inwa & Sagaing)- Bagan (B)

Venture outside the city to the Buddha-land of Sagaing. This religion hub presents the education for monks with different level. After visiting Sagaing University, we will proceed to visit Buddha cave and Kaunghmudaw Paya, Tupayon temple where you can enjoy the great view of Mandalay.This afternoon we will travel to Amarapura to discover the Maha Ganayon Kyaung lake and the nearby monastery. Enjoy a walk over U Bein bridge, the longest teak wood bridge in Myanmar.Leave Mandalay for Bagan late in the afternoon.
A dinner with puppet show will highlight your day with us.

Day 09: Bagan Temples Tour (B,D)

Spend your full day exploring the remainder of Bagan which consists of more than 2500 temples and pagodas. This archaeological site brings us to the sacred history of ancient Bagan capital with the development of Buddhism.As we travel further into the land of temple spires, Htilomino, Gawdamgangyi, Ananda and Shwezigontemples will attract your sense of curiosity with a profound impression.The highlight of this day is the sunset from the second highest temple the Shwenandaw.

Day 10: Bagan – Mt. Popa (B)

Today, we venture to Popa national park where Mt. Popa is located. After 2 hours driving, we will climb up to Papa Kalat pagoda, the most sacred place for meditation in Myanmar. Enjoy your lunch by Mt. Popa resort with panoramic views of the area.
Return to Bagan for a haunted sunset cruise.

Day 11: Bagan – Yangon (B)

This day, our tour guide and driver will be at your disposal for Bagan visits.
Relax until late afternoon, taking the flight back to Yangon.

Day 12: Yangon departure (B)

Visit Scott market, the biggest market in Yangon for a look at unique Myanmar products including gems and handicrafts.
Taking your flight to connect with a tour in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand or back home with our souvenirs.

WHERE IS MYANMAR (BURMA)  Myanmar (Burma) is South East Asia’s largest and most diverse countries, stretches from the sparkling islands of the Andaman Sea in the south right up into the Eastern Himalayan mountain range.
  • The months of October to March, when it is drier and cooler than at other times of the year.
  • The rainy season has the effect of monsoon in June, July, August and September, BUT it is not rainy the whole country like in Mandalay or Bagan.
  • Summer season stars from March to May remains dry (meaning that road transport is still relatively easy) but they can be extremely hot in the north – up to 40 degrees Celsius – but cooler in highland areas like in Inle lake.
  1. Tourist visa issued with e-Visa system will be launched at 06:00 on 1st September 2014.
  2. Regarding the information of e-Visa is on website www.evisa.moip.gov.mm and the information of restricted area on www.mip.gov.mm.
  3. You can apply as following procedures:
    Your passport validity must have AT LEAST 6 MONTHS.
    You have to present one COLOR photo (4 cm X 6 cm) taking during 3 months and return ticket.
    The length of stay is 28 days from the date of arrival in Myanmar.
    You pay the application fee, US$ 50 by using Visa, Master, Amex, and JCB – Credit/ Debit.
    The system will reply the information if the application is received or not within 1 HOURS.
    The processing time is maximum 03 DAYS WORKING for granting e-Visa or not.
    The validity of e-Visa approval letter is 3 MONTHS from the issued date. If it is expired, the entry will be denied.
    Duration of visa validity you can only use single entry. Do not allow to enter again.
    The passengers from international cruise ships CAN NOT use eVisa for their entry via sea ports.
    You will not be refunded whether e-Visa is granted or not.

Myanmar country code is 95.
Mobile phone is GMS – SIM based technology. The SIM card is as cheap as 2-3$/piece.
Wi-fi is free at some hotels, restaurants, and coffee shops at main cities.
Wi-fi speed is not very quick but enough for email, web surfing or facebook.

MYANMAR MONEY & CARDS  Myanmar’s national currency, the KYAT (pronounced chat, abbreviated in MMK) is divided into the following banknotes: K1, K5, K10, K20, K50, K100, K200, K500 and K1000. us$ 1 ~ 1,350MMK.
Most three stars hotels up often have at least one AMT machine right at their lobbies. Main hotels now accepts credit cards payment.
Anyway, we suggest you should bring with some cashes just in case. Local buying there accept Burmese and US dollars widely. However please pay at attention when bring US notes with you:
The US$ notes must be new.
The US$ notes torn, marked, folded will not be accepted.
The US$ notes having series before 2003 backward may not accepted.
You are allowed to bring up to US$ 5000 in cash per person to enter Myanmar.
ELECTRIC SYSTEM The electrical voltage is 220 – 230V and frequency is 50 Hz.
